Privacy Policy
EKASOUL LIMITED trading as The Daily Meetery (“we”, “us”) operates this loyalty and online-ordering app. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, optional phone number and birthday, login details, notification preferences, orders, receipts, loyalty stamps, points and rewards. We also record limited technical information needed to operate and secure the app, such as device notification tokens and error details.
If you allow location access, the app may use your approximate device location to show a nearby-café message. We do not use that feature to build a location history.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We receive payment confirmation and the amount paid, but we do not receive or store your full card number or security code.
Why we use the information
We use it to create and secure your account, process orders, provide receipts, calculate loyalty benefits, notify you when an order is ready, send promotions only when you have opted in, prevent fraud, diagnose faults and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Who processes the information
We use trusted service providers including Supabase for account and database services, Stripe for payments, Firebase for push notifications, and Vercel for app hosting. These providers may process information outside New Zealand under their own security and privacy safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Security and retention
We use authenticated accounts, database access controls and server-side checks to protect loyalty, payment and dashboard information. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax and order-record requirements.
Your choices and rights
You can change notification and marketing choices in the app. You may ask to access or correct your personal information, or request deletion where we are not legally required to retain it. Removing an account may also remove access to its loyalty history and unused rewards.
